Director of Creation, Multimedia and Experience
Michael Lalancette has joined Unicorn Hearts as an Expert Partner overseeing creative direction, multimedia, and user experience, with the ambition of applying his expertise to a meaningful and promising project. He has been actively contributing on the multimedia aspects of Unicorn Hearts' solution, within the exploratory phase of the solution’s development.

Through his work in film, television, and advertising, Michael has consistently pursued a deep desire to shift perceptions, bring positivity, and create a lasting impact.

Michael grew up in front of his father’s camera—a true "amateur filmmaker." By the age of 7, he was already building his skills, capturing family gatherings on film. During high school, he shot short films between academic years. Although he initially pursued studies in science, his instinct for perspective and his passion for storytelling ultimately led him to study television. During this time, he didn’t limit himself to working in the classroom—he directed over a dozen short films, laying the foundation for a career driven by creativity and visual storytelling.

Michael’s films quickly gained recognition, traveling through local and international film festivals. Earning numerous prizes and accolades, he has been praised for his ability to touch viewers’ hearts with a unique sensitivity. His talent even took him to the Canadian Screen Awards and the prestigious Cannes Film Festival.
Renowned for his artistic versatility, instinct for storytelling, and ability to craft memorable works, Michael excels in projects that range from the thought-provoking, the humorous to minimalist and visually rich. With every project, he brings an infectious energy and a distinct creative vision.
